Three Trenton Golden Hawks players will be joining the best of the east at the Eastern Canada Cup All-Star Challenge on home ice.

Rex Moe (Team OJHL Oates), Michael Silveri (Team OJHL Nieuwendyk) and Max Ewart (Team OJHL Hawerchuk) will all be representing the Golden Hawks, the OJHL, the city of Quinte West and the entire Quinte region proudly at the event.

Moe, the 18-year old out of Grand Rapids, Michigan, is looking poised for a breakout season in 2017-18. He leads the Golden Hawks in goals with 12 and points with 22 so far this year.

Silveri, the Dudley Hewitt Cup hero from last season, has notched seven goal and 17 points thus far while playing a leadership role on the team.

Ewart surged in the month of October, scoring all 10 of his goals on the season in that month. He's been a valuable contributor ever since coming to the Golden Hawks from Strathroy Jr. B during the 2017 playoff run and his great speed and offensive instincts have sparked the team.

The ECC runs from November 13 to 15 at the Duncan McDonald Memorial Gardens.

The Golden Hawks organization would like to congratulate these three young men on their accomplishments and wish them good luck.
